In Memoriam: Michael Groh

Michael Groh was more than a partner at AT technology. He helped define who we are.

The mission, vision, and core values that guide our company today were created through Michael’s leadership and belief in what a technology partner should be. He understood that success is not measured solely by the solutions we deliver, but by the relationships we build, the trust we earn, and the way we serve others.

Throughout his career, Michael dedicated himself to helping organizations communicate, collaborate, and grow. As a partner at AT technology, he built lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and the community by leading with integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to helping others. His influence can still be seen in the culture of our company and the standards we strive to uphold every day.

While Michael’s leadership helped shape our business, it was his character that left the greatest impact. He was the person people turned to when they needed advice, encouragement, perspective, or simply a reason to smile. No matter what challenges the day brought, Mike had a way of lifting the spirits of those around him. His sense of humor, quick wit, and genuine care for others helped create the family atmosphere that continues to define AT Technology today.

As one team member shared after his passing, “He was a friend to everyone. He cared intrinsically about everyone in this building. On his darkest day, he would have given you the shirt off his back without thinking twice about it.” Another reflection described him as someone who led with “integrity, empathy, and kindness,” and who “tried to lift this office and everyone in it every single day.” Those words capture what so many of us experienced firsthand and what made Mike truly special.

His legacy lives on not only in the company he helped build, but in the people he mentored, the relationships he nurtured, and the values he instilled in all of us. Every day, we continue to be guided by the mission, vision, and core values he helped create, and by the example he set through his actions.

We are grateful for the years we shared with Michael, for the lessons he taught us, for the laughter he brought into our lives, and for the lasting impact he made on our team, our clients, and our community.
